Absolutely. We provide 24-hour emergency response Monday through Saturday for storm damage and other urgent tree hazards. If a tree or large limb suddenly falls on your house, driveway, or is blocking a road, call us immediately.
We prioritize emergencies to quickly and safely remove the danger. Our team
has experience with crisis scenarios and will take care of the problem so you can breathe easy.
(In life threatening emergencies – such as a tree taking down power lines – call 911 first.)
We can prune trees any time of year as needed, but generally the dormant season (late fall or winter) is best for most tree pruning. Pruning in winter minimizes sap loss and stress to the tree and lets us see the branch structure more clearly. However, dead or dangerous limbs should be removed promptly regardless of season. We will recommend the ideal timing for your specific trees and goals. Regular maintenance pruning every few years is highly beneficial to keep trees healthy and safe
The cost varies depending on the size of the tree, complexity of the job, and location/accessibility. During your free estimate, we’ll evaluate these factors and provide a written quote. We strive to offer fair, competitive pricing for top-quality work. Keep in mind, investing in professional tree care can save you money in the long run by preventing property damage or tree failure . We never proceed with any work until you’re comfortable with the price and plan.
Yes. Cleanup is a standard part of every job we do. Tree work can get messy – leaves, branches, sawdust – but we believe leaving your yard neat is part of professional service. We will haul away trunks, limbs, and grindings unless you prefer otherwise. If desired, larger firewood-size logs can be cut and left for you.
Rest assured, when we’re finished, your property will be clean and you’ll only notice the improved trees (or that the troublesome tree is gone!)
We strongly caution against DIY tree removal or heavy pruning. Tree work is inherently dangerous,
especially without proper equipment and training. We’ve seen unfortunate cases where DIY attempts lead to serious injuries or property damage. (For example, one Virginia homeowner’s DIY removal attempt caused a tree section to crash through their roof – resulting in $78,000 of damage.)
Even seemingly straightforward jobs can go wrong due to hidden tensions in the wood or unpredictable falls. For your safety, it’s best to hire professionals. We have the skills to remove trees safely and the insurance coverage in the rare event something goes awry.
It’s just not worth the risk to do it on your own.
It’s basically a professional “tree check-up.” If you have concerns about a tree (or multiple trees), we come out to inspect its health and structural condition. We’ll identify any issues like disease, pest infestations, root problems, or weaknesses. Then we explain our findings and advise you on next steps – which could be treatments, targeted pruning, or sometimes removal if the tree is beyond saving. Our tree health assessment gives you peace of mind and knowledge about your tree’s status. We love educating homeowners about their trees, and you’re free to ask any questions during the consultation. There’s no obligation – just information to help you make the best decision for safety and tree care.
