Stump Grinding & Removal

After a tree is removed, you’re often left with an ugly stump in the ground. Don’t worry – we’ll take care of that too. Our stump grinding service will completely remove the remaining stump and major roots, so you regain a clean, level space to replant or reuse.

Leaving stumps can lead to several problems. They’re tripping hazards, obstacles for your lawnmower, and can even attract pests like termites or carpenter ants. Old stumps may harbor diseases that could spread to your other trees . They can also sprout suckers and try to regrow, causing a recurring headache . Grinding the stump prevents these issues by chewing the wood into small chips and destroying the root core. We grind well below ground level (typically 6–12 inches down) to ensure the stump won’t resurface. The wood chips left behind can be used as mulch to fill the hole or in your garden.

Our team uses specialized stump grinders that fit into tight spots (like fenced yards or near structures) but pack enough power to tackle large stumps. In a short time, that unsightly stump will be gone without a trace. You’ll eliminate hazards and preserve your curb appeal – no more rotting wood in your yard. Stump removal is the final step in completing a tree removal job the right way, and we include hauling off the grindings or leveling them out per your preference. Enjoy a smooth, safe lawn again!

Tree Health Assessment

Through our assessment, you’ll learn what the tree needs to recover or whether removal is advised.

We examine for common problems like insect infestations, fungal diseases, root rot, nutrient deficiencies, and structural weaknesses. You’ll receive an honest evaluation and expert recommendations, which might include treatments (like pruning off diseased limbs, fertilization, or pest control), cabling/bracing for support, or in severe cases, safe removal. Our goal is to give you the knowledge to make informed decisions about your trees’ care.
